This symposium will gather researchers working on understanding pre-harvest sprouting (PHS) using multidisciplinary approaches to discuss solutions to this agronomically-relevant problem that affects many modern crops. By showcasing state-of-the-art knowledge, participants will have the opportunity to share their comprehensive advances and interact with colleagues working on cutting-edge PHS research.
We will provide you with a template for abstract by email after finishing your registration. Abstracts should be submitted to us (the email address: isphsc2023ml.affrc.go.jp) as an attached file by July 30. The organizing committee will select some abstracts as oral presentation.

The symposium will be held at Tsukuba Center for Institutes.
It is located just a 20-min walk from Tsukuba Station on the Tsukuba Express (TX) railway line.

Tuskuba, the science city, is surrounded by a rich natural environment, located close by the well-known Mount Tsukuba and the second largest lake Kasumigaura in Japan.
From Haneda, Narita and Ibaraki International Airports, it takes approximately 100, 55, and 60 min, respectively, by bus.
From Tokyo Station, it takes approximately 55 mins and 70 min by train and bus, respectively.
